What's this site all about?
123Out helps you connect you with the places you hang out offline, and the people who hang out there.
123Out lets you meet other people who are attracted to the same places. You can also use 123Out to discover places in other cities and areas that attract the type of people and have the type of vibe you're looking for.
How does it work?
1) It Starts by Signing Up for a 123Out account. Your name and email are all you need to get started.
2) Find something fun to do. Add your favorite places and check the events section to see what is going on.
3) Tell your friends so they can join you in the activities you like. Add them to your network or invite them to join your personalized events.
4) Now you can easily see the places and people your friends like so you can get out there!
Can I view my own profile?
Yes, under your dashboard tab look at the shortcuts menu and click on view profile to see what your profile looks like to others.
How do I set my profile to private?
Under your dashboard page click on edit profile and under the account type select the private option.
How do I change my default picture?
In your dashboard page under the Shortcuts menu click on upload/change photos. Each image you have uploaded will have a button next to it labeled set to default click the button the image you wish to make your main image.
Issues with images
If you having issues uploading an image make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the formats 123Out accepts (.gif, .jpg). If it is one of those formats then make sure the file is less than 1.5 MB. We do not allow images over 1.5 MB. If none of these tips help, it's possible that the image is corrupted.
How can I add html/css to my profile?
You can add html/css to your profile by entering the code in the About Me section of your profile. To get to the About Me section click on edit profile while on your dashboard page and click on the Personal tab.
How can I delete a photo?
Click on upload photo and you can delete or edit the tag on any of your photos. It is kinda confusing and it will be fixed soon. =)

How do I find friends on the site?
You can use the import address book to check whether your friends are already on the site. We never store your email passwords or send out any email invitations without permission. You can also look for your friend under the people tab.
How do I add a friend who I can't find on the site?
Go to your dashboard page to invite your friend to join by selecting Invite Friends in the shortcut menu. If you want to import some friends from your address book select the Import Friends option.
If I decline someone's friend request, will they be notified?
No, no email notification will be sent. You won't see the friend request in your pending request anymore; and to the other person, it appears as if they've never invited you.
If I remove someone as a friend, will they be notified?
No, you just won't appear on each others' friends list any more.

How do I tell my friends about a good find?
You can select the forward this link to a friend under the place you are interested in.
I can’t find the place I’m looking for, can I add it?
Yes, type in the name of the place you are looking for an if it is not in the database then an Add Place link will appear. Simply fill out of the place information and after approval by the administrator your place will appear on your profile.
I don't remember the city where the place want to add was what can I do?
If you can't remember the city where the place you want to add is, remove the city and state from the location box in the Places page and search for it. If our database has the place it will show up otherwise you can add it.
How do I view pictures from a 123Out photographer?
To view pictures from a 123Out photographer click on the Photos tab and select the city where your event occurred. Scroll down the list to find your event date. You can also go to the place where your event occurred and hit the past events button to see your event.
How do you create an event?
Go to the Events tab click on the Add Events button and select your venue and fill in the details. You can also select the place you would like your event to occur. Then select Add Event under the shortcuts menu.
What is a weekly event?
A weekly event is one that repeats every week. To create a weekly event check the repeats weekly box and select how long this event will continue to repeat.
What is a popular event?
A popular event is one that is a one time event and is created when the event access is set to public.
Why is there a photos tab?
The Photo tab is used to showcase past events which 123Out photographers have captured.
What is a public event?
Anyone can view and RSVP for this event. This is created by choosing the public option in creating an event.
What is a friend only event?
People you have invited can view this event as well as people in your entourage and the invitee(s) entourage(s). Friends not invited may request an invitation if you have not invited them.
What is a private event?
Only the user and his/her invitee(s) can see this event.
ERRORS AND INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT
Where do I report Inappropriate Content?
If there is a picture on a users profile or place that is inappropriate, click on the flag at the bottom of the picture so an administrator can take action.
If the content is an image uploaded to the user's image gallery, click on the 'Report this Image' link that is under the image.
Where do I report spammers?
Please contact us with the URL to the profile of a spammer, and details of how you were spammed.
How do I report an error?
Please check the 123Out Forum to ensure that the error you experienced is not already a known issue. If you do not see it listed, please post a description of the error you received and what you were doing in when you received the error.

Why should I join a group?
Join a group to connect with others that share common interests.
EVENTS
If your image is too big you can download the free program IrfanView at http://www.irfanview.com/. You can use this program to easily reduce your image size to fit on the site.
How do I change my password?
Start by clicking on "Dashboard" in the top navigation menu from any 123Out web page and in the shortcuts section click on change password. Then enter your old password, your new password, confirm your new password and click “Change”. You can now log in using your new password.
Deactivating Account
If you would like to deactivate your account, you need to login to your profile. On the dashboard click the edit profile option and you 'ill find the deactivate your profile option on the right corner.
